Diptych, 36”x48” each. Part of a series titled “I Am Not My Body.” Each piece is titled with a Florence and the Machine song. The way I build these pieces draws the viewer in, questioning which layer came first. Ink drips, acrylic paint layers peeking through, charcoal, pastel and spraypaint. This piece is dreamlike in quality, neons and fluorescents muted to play with the neutral palette.
